Tired of the same old routine? There are SO many fun things to see, do, and explore at Port Discovery! In addition to our daily programs, you’ll find fun family events like Rattle Your Bones, Indigenous Peoples’ Heritage Day, Winter Break, Noontime New Year, and so many more happening throughout the year at Port Discovery!

March 25 - April 5 : Spring Break at Port Discovery
Make this spring break one that you’ll never forget! Visit Port Discovery to enjoy spring-themed performances, art projects, stories and hands-on experiences that’ll be sure to bring some cheer and milestone moments this spring season.
April : Month of the Young Child
Port Discovery is partnering with Arts for Learning Maryland to celebrate the Month of the Young Child! Educational programming made with our youngest learners in mind will be presented by our Learning Specialists, emphasizing on STEM, Language, and Social Emotional Learning through hands on and interactive activities.
April 5 - 7 : Studio Takeover with Kelsey Joyce
Create your own aquatic jar masterpiece and learn how marine animals need a healthy habitat.
April 6 & 7 : Members Hour
Port Discovery members are invited to enjoy museum access one-hour before we open to the general public!
April 12 : Play It Forward
Join us for an evening to celebrate Port Discovery and 25 years of joy, connection and learning through play with a special night at the Museum. Light up the night with gourmet delights, dazzling cocktails and unforgettable fun – under the neon glow!
April 13 & April 21 : ASL Storytelling with Kathy MacMillan
Join us for a special story time along with American Sign Language songs and action rhymes!
April 21 : Sensory Friendly Sunday
Join us for a sensory-friendly experience at the museum from 9 AM - 11 AM.
April 26 : Community Day
Visit Port Discovery at a discount price and enjoy 3 floors of fun, plus special performances and activities from our education team!
